Adventure Southland Ltd are specialists in fun outdoor education and recreation to schools in Southland.  Using the experience and expertise of Adventure Southland Ltd means that schools are no longer solely reliant on the skills of their staff when planning and managing activities and camps.

We are able to cater for all schools from primary to tertiary levels providing complete camp and activity management.  This may include:

Locations in which camps may be held include:

  •          Tautuku, located in the Catlins off the beaten track on the Southern most coast of the South Island
  •          Deep Cove, Fiordland National Park
  •          Omaui, 20km south west of Invercargill
  •          Borland, situated at the gateway to Fiordland National Park
  •          Invercargill
  •     Tirohanga Camp- Mosgiel, Dunedin

We are also able to run specified programmes, these include:

  •         ACC River Safe Programmes
    •         Section 1: Getting to Know Rivers
    •         Section 2: Enjoying Rivers Safely

  •        Year 11 Programme sample
    •         Rock Climbing – belaying, climbing and set-ups
    •         Kayaking – basic flat water kayaking skills, wet exiting, river safe, paddle strokes, understanding of all safety equipment and water hydrology.
    •         Bush Craft – basic bush craft skills with the aim of moving into navigation.  At the completion of the programme students will take part in an excursion they have planned.
